In today's Gospel message, we hear about Jesus taking 5 loaves and two fish from the young boy, and multiplying them into enough to feed five thousand. At each and every Mass, we bring our gifts to the altar, not as grain and grapes, but as bread and wine. Jesus uses those simple gifts, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, turns these elements into His body and blood. When we leave Mass, we become living tabernacles, bringing Christ to our world.
