In today's homily, Deacon Mace points out that Jesus came to bring mercy and love, not power and domination. He came to suffer and die, not to reign. When we imitate Christ's example of service to others, we are acting as true disciples of Jesus. Each day we are provided opportunities to bring others to Jesus, by living in the manner and the standards of the kingdom of God, rather than the standards of the world.
