In today's homily, Msgr. McCormac reminds us that Jesus is indeed the King of the Universe, but he creates a totally different example of what a king should be. Unlike a worldly king, who distances himself from his subjects, Jesus wants us close, and even calls us His friends. He wants us to imitate Him, and make Him present, wherever we are.
