In this Sunday's gospel, Msgr. Magee reminds us that's the events of Jesus's resurrection aren't just an event that happened long ago, but are alive for us and still speaking to us today. The apostles have another encounter with Jesus, as he once again, shows the depth of His love, and helps them to fill their boat with fish, after they were unsuccessful on their own.
