In today's homily, Deacon Mace reminds us of the importance of hospitality, and in welcoming family, friends, and strangers. In today's gospel, we meet Martha and Mary, who are happy to see Jesus and welcome Him to their home. Martha is concerned with hospitality and "details", but Mary listens to Jesus with an open mind and heart . The gospel says that Mary has chosen the better way, to be present and listen to the Lord. Deacon Mace suggests that we invite Jesus into our homes and into our daily lives, but we must speak with Him about our concerns, our hopes, anxieties, our worries and joys. Then we must listen, in silence, to our Lord's response. Have a blessed week!!
