In today's homily, Msgr. Magee reminds us that Jesus has indeed won victory over sin and death for all of us, but that is not enough. As much as Jesus wants us to follow His commands and His way, He never forces us. We must choose good over evil many times in our daily life. It isn't an easy thing to do, but Jesus allows us the freedom to choose to live our lives according to his plan, or to do things our own way. Through prayer and the sacraments, Our Lord has provided all that we need to strength ourselves in this fight with Satan, and live according to His will.
