Today is the first Sunday of Advent, the start of a new liturgical year, and the beginning of our journey toward Christmas. In today's homily, Deacon Mace reminds us about the importance of remaining awake, and ready for the Master to return, as we do not know the day nor the hour that He will come. What we do know is that HE WILL COME!! Some ways we can prepare for Jesus's birth are to help the needy, spend extra time in prayer, and to go to confession to be reconciled with our Lord.
